First off let me say Rob Thomas is awesome.  For many years now, he's been awesome.  I do like it better when he's doing the matchbox twenty thing but I'll take him solo too.  Yippee on the new CD today...I did buy it and it is great.  In other news, I am getting a ton of footprints here.  And that makes me super happy.  However, one comment to 200 views?  Makes me a little less happy.  Aw well, I'm just going to keep doing what I do and hoping those of you looking will start saying something too.

I know I started this whole 'I'm going to write on here everyday' thing...and then promptly stopped.  I think about it a lot though if that helps.  I don't have an excuse, so much as a reality.  I get up every morning at six, which has been closer to the time I go to bed rather than the time I awake for my entire life.  I am not a morning person.  Sure, I can get up at six and be fine for the whole day...I'd just rather not.  I love nighttime.  I also love sleep, it just never has been my friend.  So, back to where I was, I get up at six in the morning, drive for about half an hour, and then spent the better part of nine hours with a six-year-old that can be a bit hyper some---most of the time.  Then a few evenings a week I stay up there since she's my boyfriend's daughter.  Those days I try to wear her out a little extra during the day so she's calmer at night.  That always backfires on me because in wearing her out, I end up wearing myself out because, really let's face it, I'm getting older.  Yes, two months, three weeks, I'll be thirty...ARGH!  On the nights I do come home, I'm just too tired to type up one quote or come up with a mildly fetching story...or look at a computer screen at all because my eyes are so tired they just hurt.  Instead I enjoy lying in bed, wide awake, praying for at least four good hours of sleep before getting up and doing it again the next day.  However, today is Saturday, which means no babysitting...but I did actually have to work...until 11:30 tonight.  So I did sleep in this morning to be prepared for randomly cruising the internet tonight.  I did upload some icons to my photobucket finally.  I think there were a couple in my first blog here years ago...and I may have repeated a couple here tonight.  I was just going by the ones I'd had the longest.  Icons and quotes...and hey, I think there was a bit of actual writing up there too.  Or not...lol.  Enjoy it all either way.
